The general volume of investment in commercial real estate in Russia will total $6.5 billion in 2012, according to a forecast from Jones Lang LaSalle commercial real estate company. St. Petersburg enters the list of top 100 cities in terms of real estate investment volume for the first time ever, in the 34th position.

The financial crisis had already touched all segments of St. Petersburg’s commercial real estate market by the first quarter of 2009.
