New appointment
In connection with the strategic accents on the commercial real estate market segments in 2010, the headquarters of Maris | Part of the CBRE Affiliate Network has decided to form new business lines.
As of February 2011, the Department of Business Development was created. Kyle Patching has been appointed Director of this new unit. In terms of the position, Kyle’s main goals are:
- The attraction of key corporate clients
- The sale of commercial real estate in such areas as investment projects, office, retail and industrial real estate
- The development of an industrial and warehouse department and managing key transactions within this important area
Mr. Patching received his experience in major consulting companies like ARIN Commercial Real Estate, Colliers International and Peterburgskaya Nedvizhimost.
While with ARIN Commercial Real Estate Services, Kyle worked as Managing Partner. One of the key deals with Arin was Mr. Patching leasing 10,000 sq.m of warehouse/industrial space in the MLP complex to Grupo Antolin, a Spanish auto components manufacturer.
While working with Colliers International, Kyle participated in two record office leasing deals (Kit Finance for 10,000 sq.m, and KPMG, which he handled himself, for 4,500 sq.m). Also noteworthy was the Mr. Patching’s closing of the largest investment deal in St. Petersburg city history (the sale of AKM Logistics to Raven Russia for $216 Million USD). In 2007, Mr. Patching helped close the deal of the investment sales transaction of the Global City shopping center in Moscow to Baltic Property Trust. In 2008, Kyle successfully closed a record setting 12,000 sq. m industrial leasing deal with Tenant representation of Magna International through their daughter company Technoplast.
Commercial Real Estate sale/purchase transactions of more than $300 million, leased industrial premises of over 37 000 sq.m, closed office deals of 24 000 sq.m – these are Kyle’s main achievements for the past 6 years.
Kyle graduated Grant McEwen College, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada as a journalist. Also he attended the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada where he majored in the Slavonic Studies program with an accent in Russian Language and history. Mr. Patching also earned a CAIB diploma (Canadian commercial insurance broker designation) giving emphasis on business management and client service.
